Wesley, Nov 28 – The funeral of Dennis Heath who died near here from the result of injuries received a few days ago when a horse kicked him was held at Wesley Chapel this afternoon at one and was largely attended.  The services were in charge of Rev. Mr. Fair. The interment was in the nearby churchyard. Mr. Heath was 63 years old. He was a highly respected and widely known farmer.  He died at his home Wednesday evening of the results of an injury sustained Monday when he was kicked by a horse. He received the injury while plowing on his farm late Monday afternoon and at the time thought he had not been serious hurt.  He walked from the field to his home.  Later Monday night he began to suffer pains in his stomach where the horse had kicked him and his condition became worse.  Throughout Tuesday and Wednesday he suffered intensely from the effects of the injury until death came to relieve him.  Living nearly all his life in the neighborhood where his death occurred, Mr. Heath was one of the best known men in that part of the county.  He was a member of the Christian Union Church and the Odd Fellows and Red men lodges and was frequent visitor in this city.  Surviving their father are Howard Heath and Mrs. Nettie Williams of near Wesley; Cleveland, Nina and Rachel who reside at the home.  One brother, Dr. John Heath of California and a sister, Mrs. James Gray of near Wesley are also living. =s
